The world has been invaded not by aliens from another planet, but nevertheless by an alien. A pathogen that has found its way into the lives of everyone. It brought fear, death, sickness, disbelief, anger, and put the whole earth on lockdown.
I want to encourage you through this time, as we end out of 2020, and walk into a new year taking with us a pathogen called covid-19.
I want to encourage you to fight the good fight. Don't stand still and let this unknown pathogen take your joy, peace, hope, love, and humanity away. Don't let the fear of what we don't know to control us, but let's let the peace of God that we do know have full charge and dominion over our lives. Psalms 24:1- The earth is the LORD'S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. Colossians 1:16-17 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him and for him: 17-And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Romans 8:35-39 reads "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36-As it is written, For thy sake, we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37-Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him, that loved us. 38-For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things to come, 39-Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
The only true hope we will find is in Jesus. The only true answer we will find is in Jesus. The only true cure to sin, sickness, and disease we will find are in Jesus. John 14:6 "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
Romans 10:9-11 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10-For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness, and with the mouth, confession is made unto salvation. 11-For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
I hope the passages of scriptures will bring you comfort and relief. I pray they will bring the call of salvation to the door of your heart, and that you will answer for it is Jesus' knocking. Revelation 3:20 "Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and open the door, I will come into him and will sup with him, and he with me."
